hello from hollywood!!
I was borne in Los Angeles, California and at the age of 4 moved to Hollywood. I remember standing staring at the apartment building. I liked the trees that surrounded it. And I stared at the weird building next door to it with the words La Mama Hollywood Theatre. I noticed that one of the trees had small butteryellow flowers on it and they were falling to the ground. I ran over to the tree and twirled underneath it.
Me: It's snowing! It's snowing!
I twirled under the falling flowers and danced a lil' jig. I heard the sound of a truck pull up ~ it was my mom in the uhaul with our belongings. This was our new home. No more Dad. No more doggie. Just the 5 of us living in Hollywood.
